In the lead up to and throughout the 2011 Federal Election campaign, I was in charge of communications at the Omar Alghabra campaign. While the riding fell to the Conservatives in a disastrous Election Day for Liberals, our efforts in Mississauga-Erindale were heralded as innovative and professional.
Communications Consultant
Working with ENBALA Power Networks, a greentech start-up that connects large energy users to the Smart Grid, I write and edit all press releases, sales sheets, PowerPoint presentations, website and video content, technical white papers and magazine articles.
Government of British Columbia
Media Relations/Public Affairs Officer
During my time with the Government of British Columbia, I worked closely with two ministers to create media messaging and respond to media calls, often on tight deadlines with complex information. I also created other communications materials, including editorials, letters to editors, speeches, and press releases.
